I would like to introduce myself. My name is David Goodrich and I am married to a lovely wife and have one great son. I have never gone to school to be a writer so I do apologize if you do not like the way I express myself. I decided to create this website on the intent on sharing with you my passion, learning and helping others.

I would like to first to give you some background on my life. I grew up in a single family household in South Florida with not much money. My mother worked hard and sometimes worked more than one job. She was taught growing up to work hard, but money always seemed to be tight. For example, me and my sister had to share a happy meal at McDonald’s to save money!! I remember thinking only the rich kids could afford Pringles, ha ha. My chips were just thrown in a bag, not neatly stacked. When my mom got remarried life became easier and money was more abundant. Both parents had a secure government job that guaranteed a nice retirement if they worked there long enough, at least 25 years!

Growing up I had aspirations of being a Major League Baseball player. In High School I remember doing a career quiz to find out what I would love to be when I grew up. Suprisingly nothing caught my eye. I thought maybe going to work as a “Businessman” wearing a tie would get me money and respect but really had no clue. I went to college first to University of Florida but did not last very long before I flunked out for not going to class. I really had no drive due to the fact that I wasn’t sure what all the effort was for, to go and work and be their slaves! At the time I believe I did not realize that was my motive. I wasn’t conscious enough to realize why I had these questions that most people seemed to not have or worry about. A lot of people reading this might have had the same experience.

After numerous jobs, I had an entrepenuerial seizure as some people call it. I went back to school to become a massage therapist. I really enjoyed getting massages and figured the spa is a nice place to work. Now compared to the other jobs life was great. There was no boss breathing down my neck making sure I was hitting my numbers, even though there is spas out there that will do that. But something seemed to still be missing the more I massaged people. First of all, I only made money when I worked and my hands could only do so many massages before I felt in serious pain and was bored of it. If I was sick or wanted a vacation, guess what, NO PAY! In the long run, being a therapist was bound to come to an end for me if I was going to make a go of the good life. I was massaging people, but would have rather been the one getting massaged. The people on my table where the ones with passive income, rental properties, businesses, professional careers like lawyers and doctors. I knew I didn’t want to go to school and owe over a hundred thousand dollars for my MD, so that left either starting my own business or becoming an investor.

I have read 100′s of books and put to action many of the principles in the books as my consciousness expanded. I hope to be the channel that assists you in becoming a better version of yourself. And that is where I am today, a student of learning and helping others.

Personally I feel like I we all have a creative inside that is bursting to get out, we see it usually very strongly in kids. Well where does it go? Schools, Parents, Government are the most common arguments why individual creativity is squashed for the majority of people. It is good for some people to be happy working doing repetitive work all day long, they fill a role that benefits society.
